LEGO STORE.....

...IN CLEVELAND!!!!

Yesterday the first Lego Store in the Cleveland area opened...and we were there! Jared had a blast checking out all of the new Lego sets and even had the opportunity to meet and help a real Lego Master Builder create a giant (8ft) R2-D2.
I let Jared get a small set, it was an airplane (shocking, I know) and we even got Jaime his very first Lego Duplo set. Here are some of the pics that we took yesterday! We sure had a lot of fun!

The best thing about a store in our area is that it's one less place we'll have to go when we go to Columbus or Cleveland! ;) HA!

AND THE WINNER IS........

....JARED TROST!

Jared participated in his first ice skating competition yesterday...he competed in two events. He did a skills event and a program with music. He earned 2 medals, one for 2nd place for his skills (he actually fell during his first spin, but nailed his second one). He won his overall division, receiving a 1st place for his program! :) He was sooooooo happy last night and I was very proud of him.
Here is his program that won him 1st place. The quality isn't all that great, as I was filming from the bleachers and through the hockey net, but you get the idea. He had required foot elements (swizzles, slaloms, glides...etc), he had a really great time and was probably the only one competing who wasn't nervous. He just went out there and gave it his all. Enjoy!

Here are some of the pics that I took during the competition. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did taking them! Last night was very fun for us! :)

Congratulations Jared....Way to go!!!!!!

BRICK MASTER!

The Brick Master is BACK and BETTER than EVER!
Since Christmas, Jared has been SUPER busy building all of his new Lego sets. He lined them all up the other day. He asked me to put them on his blog. So, here they are! He's a super builder!
All of his Christmas Lego gifts.
Ta-dah!
An inside look.

Oops, forgot to add Santa and his sleigh.
This is the set that Santa brought.
Check out the detail, his Lego guys even have coffee mugs and computers.

A bit blurry, but this is a pic of the inside of his Lego limo. Notice the "turquoise" TV!

These are pretty cool! Jared was super excited to share them with all of you. Overall, Jared's doing OK, just lots of sinus congestion. In other Jared news, he's been busy with his 2nd grade schoolwork, swimming, cooking classes and of course ice skating. Not to mention being an awesome big bro to his baby brother! ;)
Enjoy the pics...more Lego creations to come!
